Our story

The Loanworks story began back in 1985, when our founders launched Resi Mortgage Corporation. Resi began life in a small office in the Sydney suburb of Stanmore, and went on to become one of Australia’s leading providers of non-bank home loans, for more than three decades.

During that time, our founders also established Loanworks Technologies to offer financial software solutions and outsourcing services, and later Sintex to offer wholesale commercial and residential loans.

Then, in 2019, Loanworks Technologies and Sintex merged to become simply Loanworks. Our focus? Equally simple: ground-breaking solutions for lenders, aggregators and originators.

Our mission

We first started out in business because we felt driven to offer Australian homebuyers an alternative to the banks. We thought we could provide cheaper, more flexible home loans. And we did.

Then we thought we could create technology solutions that benefited homebuyers and the mortgage industry alike. And we did.

And most recently, we thought we could develop the world’s first fully-automated, omni-channel, straight-through processing (STP), digital loan origination and processing software. Again, we did.

Today we’re just as passionate and innovative as we ever were, and we have the client list and awards to prove it.
